More Mercedes SL63 spy pics

Despite its age, the classic styling of Mercedes SL range still manages to turn heads and is hardly in need of a facelift. However, engineers are hard at work developing an update for the car ahead of the launch of an all new model in 2011. Prototypes of the facelifted model have been spotted testing at the Nurburgring including a few test-mules for the potent AMG prepped versions.

Read the article- this isn't its last year. It's just getting a facelift.

I really, really hope it doesn't get the SLR/SLK nose. That would completely ruin it.

Last post, I promise.

I looked at the spyshots- it appears to be getting CLS-ish headlamps, but (sigh of relief) no SLR nose in sight. Whether the headlights will work in this car remains to be seen.

i would prefer an slr nose than those cls lamps. :bleh:
dont get me wrong. i love the cls but these headlamps...
they just dont work with its current lines.

my cousin has an sl500, i gotta admit girls love this car.
when you pull up on this car its like the bras and panties start flying off.....
