Gran Turismo to help unveil Nissan GT-R

At the “Tokyo Game Show 2007? at Makuhari Messe, the GranTurismo folks announced a free downloadable demo and a change in the release date for “Gran Turismo 5 Prologue”.

On October 20th, Sony will unveil a downloadable demo for “Gran Turismo 5 Prologue” to coincide with the 40th Tokyo Motor Show that will feature an unmasked version of the production Nissan GT-R with full specs.

The full retail version of the “Gran Turismo 5 Prologue” will hit stores on December 13, 2007.

These are the individuals who idolize this vehicle in the 1st place.

Note: I lived in Okinawa for 10 years, and owned one of each - Skyline GT-R R32, R33 and R34, and as nice as they were, they simply weren't all that many (in the U.S.) seems to believe they are, and I'd take a 2005 on Corvette over any of them... ANY DAY!

Maybe the new one will prove to be a bit more than a riced-out version of a mainstream 2-door sedan.... ?

You'd take the Corvette beacuse its a car you probably don't have in Japan. The same as for some japanese car enthusiasts in the USA. They'll go for the GTR since all we really see is Muscle cars, some japanese sports cars and german sports cars.

As for GT5 - oh man is this going to be a great game. I hope they have included realistic damage this time around.

Remember the gentleman's agreement of 280hp that still regulated R34? Now that it's gone, the new GT-R will be totally different from what you had before.

Is this the full game? Or just some sort of teaser software? Because I'm waiting for this to come out- this is one simulator that is better than a mere "video game;" any enthusiast should get his hands on one.
