Officially Official: Fiat Grand Punto Abarth
Fiat officially announced today the re-launch of the Abarth name. Abarth is now back with a new range of cars for sports car enthusiasts. First car on the list? The Grand Punto Abarth which the company released official images of today.

The Grand Punto Abarth is powered 1.4 Turbo petrol engine that produces 150 horsepower. Abarth also unveiled the new Grand Punto Abarth “essesse” at the Frankfurt Motor Show last week. The “essesse” variant produces a total output of 180 horsepower.

Following these two models, Fiat will reveal a production version of the Grand Punto Abarth S2000 which is capable of delivering 270 horsepower.

270 HP in a car that small is going to be crazy. It will probably be heavier as I'm sure the stock components can't support that much power. They should make a stripped version of the s2000 and make a race series, could be interesting.
