Your title is bogus.

Acura wants to bring back their CL. Which was closer to a CLK/BMW 3 Coupe competitor (but not really quite there, especially due to the FWD).

I have a CLK and let me tell you... The CL is FAAAAAR from being anywhere near the CLK. So I agree with you that the title of the article (like most here it seems) is completely irrelevant and ludacris.

Yes, I must say, the CL was never close to the CLK. CLK is positioned as a C-Class-based coupe for an E-Class price; CL was based off of the mediocre last-gen TL.
