First picture-2007 Audi A8?

The Audi Lemans concept was absolutely killer in our opinion.

Well, one of the tricks the car companies do is try to gauge customers reactions to new design elements with these concepts.

I think he might be on to something here. I mean look at the new "big mouth" design and notice the resemblance. Look at Scot’s grill, front and center. Personally, I think the front end is too low and sleek in this example for any car of this height so it doesn’t really match up. Audi designers may have thought the same thing.. What did they do to remedy this? Blow it up large and give it more bulk to better fit the size of the car. Give it some “real world” headlights and kablam! That’s the Audi we already see. I don’t think this is the future direction for Audi but I understand where Schot’s design ideas came from.

The front may look awful and out of place, but it could HINT at the next A8. Just imagine the side profile matching the front, and it could work.
