Toyota Motor Sales, USA (TMS), Inc. will stage the US premiere of the all-new 2009 Corolla and Matrix at a press conference at the 2007 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show, held October 30 - November 3, 2007 in Las Vegas.

Cheap, simple, and reliable. Good combo for daily economy car. The latest look is fugly, but cheap, simple, and reliable makes up for it :)

saw one for sale in a parking lot. asking price was $17,000! for a USED corolla? didn't know they could cost that much even new!

I hope it's interesting. The current model is put-you-to-sleep boring. The Civic, 3, Rabbit and Lancer have shown that vehicles in this class can look GOOD. I want Toyota to step up to it.

Ok... So after seeing the new Civic, Toyota scraps (what was to be the 2007) Corolla for a complete exterior redesign, and this is the best they could come up with?

the thing is, there was NOTHING much wrong with the 2003-2007 generation!

what other car, in the last year of its cycle, still set NEW SALES RECORDS every month for most of the year.

some bitch about the 'boring' styling.
maybe it's not so gee-whiz looking like some other econoboxes that try to catch the boy-racer types. but it IS a classic, MATURE looking design that will endure LONG after this season's styling fads looked dated and awkward.

it actually sorta looks like a scaled down lexus. which also get criticized, but which also AGE WELL and still look good long after the payment book is done with.
