Toyota says September sales may not rise in U.S.

I agree. I've always said that Toyota will follow the same path as GM and will eventually suffer the same aches and pains. GM will make a big come-back and, at some point, you will see GM rising to new heights just as Toyota is declining.

You guys are talking way ahead of yourself...Toyota has learned what "not to do", from GM. Americans are suffering the economy we are currently in today, as for Toyota, they are a wealthy company that will and can survive these moments. As for the domestics they are in serious trenches, where these moments is the last thing they need in order to survive. So look at it this way...if Toyota suffers, then the domestics suffer at least 5x times more with what money to compensate for it???
