Spy Shots: BMW M3 Sedan and Convertible hang out
The fast kids over at Fast Lane Daily have scooped themselves some spy shots of the BMW M3 Sedan and Convertible having a casual hang out before they hit up the Nurburgring for some testing. The images come from a Fast Lane Daily reader who was vacationing near the Nurburgring.

Both the M3 Sedan and Convertible are expected to be powered by the same 4.0 liter, V8 engine that produces 420hp in the Coupe.

Love the Performance - Hate the Looks!

If either of these were devoid of blue/while roundels, these would look like any generic Asian vehicle.

I miss the time when BMW DESIGNED their vehicles and not just STYLED them.

Note: I'll be keeping both my E54/4.8is and E46/M3 quite a while longer.

Sorry, but they look un-mistakably like BMW's to me. All the common cues are still there, the short front overhang, stubby tail, hoffmeister kink and kidney grills. They were accused of designing one car with three different lengths before, that design language had run its course, they are known as a design company now more than ever.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again...

STYLE Is Timeless BUT Fashion's Only Now, this latest BMW lineup will age about as gracefully as Britney Spears seems to be doing.

I dont agree, look at the 6 series aging very well, same with the 5 series, 1 series. The only dated looking BMW is the 7 series... but its like 6 years old now.
