2008 Ford Harley-Davidson F-Series Super Duty unveiled

The successful alliance between American icons Ford Motor Company and Harley-Davidson Motor Company rolls on with the launch the 2008 105th Anniversary Edition Ford Harley-Davidson F-Series Super Duty.

Henry Ford started his production models the same year that William S. Harley and Arthur Davidson began to produce motorcycles – and since 1903, both companies have been rolling out superstars. Now, for the first time, the twosome is producing Harley-Davidson editions of the F-150 and Super Duty pickups in the same model year – and with the same design features.

failed attempt at recreating the original harley davidson f150, that was a nice vehicle...this is just plain old ugly!

Agreed. If they were really thinking, they'd design a new Harley F-150 (of course) and a Harley Davidson Edition Explorer (V8, cowhide leather, special wheels, stitching, include a Harley duffle bag, etc).

Ford does all these special edition vehicles but there are so many of them, they hardly seem special anymore. If they included special items like buffle bags or briefcases, sunglasses, etc. it would make the package much more valuable and unique.
