Auto Spies Exclusive-New E55 model coming

Dear 001,

One of our sources has just been FedEx'd a package from AMG that included a video disc and brochure on a 2005 AMG E55 Station Wagon.

This will be a special "by initiation" availability for a full US Spec. E55 AMG Wagon through the AMG division of MBUSA. Only selected clients will be allowed to pre-order these cars and they are contacted first. Then the client gets to choose the dealer of his/her choice to deliver the car.

If I was going to have a vehicle to haul kids and groceries in that sucks down a lot of gas why not have it go like hell in the process? Europeans have it too good in that catagory.

My personal opinion is to buy a less expensive safe and practical vehicle since children tend place some wear and tear on a vehicle. If "mom and dad" want a sports car --get that as a separate car for their own enjoyment . Besides --even though as a single guy I buy myself pricey sports cars --if I had kids I would probably want to save that money to give them the best financial support towards their education and career .
