Subaru realeases 2nd Impreza WRX STi teaser

Subaru has just released the second teaser for the Impreza WRX STi. Showing the back of the car, the image comes a week after a teaser of the front of the WRX STi.

The car which is set to make its debut at the Tokyo Motor Show next month will be powered by a 2.5 liter 4-cylinder turbo engine producing up to 300 horsepower. The car is expected to have a 0-62mph time of 4.5 seconds...

Well that settles it for me. If i do get one im getting red vinyl for the tail lights. I cant stand the clear lens. If its smoked tail lights... hmmm...

Alec, my sentiments exactly re the clear tail lights that you spotted on the deliberately dark photo -- it makes the car look real cheap. I don't think you have to go so far as to get some red vinyl. Buy some cheap red nail polish at WalMart and use it to paint over the clear parts of the lens -- It would dry in minutes but is an acetone-based product so it might be worth doing a tiny test area first in case it reacts with some el cheapo plastic used fo the clear lens. Once dry, the painted clear part should shine red.

BTW, I hate stupid teaser photos and I can't figure out what women are trying to prove by painting their finger nails.

Nail polish? ehh sounds like a risky thing to paint on, flaking is a issue. Ive had experience with vinyl, just have the right shape cut out, some soap an water and apply it.
