Spy photos: New Lotus or the new Mclaren spotted?

Photographers caught again a new supercar! The new problem is that they do not know really what kind of car it is. Due to the Brembo brakes the car might be powered by a 7.0 litre V8 engine. The car might be the new supercar from Lotus but if we look closer we see an Audi R8 side blade over the mid cooling vents. The car might also be the new supercar from Mclaren…Let’s hope that someone will figure it what car it is!

It is the Lotus Esprit, take a look at the back round lamps and the open rake back window panel, that is what the old Esprit used to have. Certainly Esprit. The front is quite disguised, but should shape up to be great. Way to go Lotus.

I think is a Toyota. I think even with the outside wheels loaded it sits too high to be a Mclaren and the stance does not say Lotus to me?

I agree, its probably a new Toyota Supra and the marketing wags are at it again keeping up the suspense until the final reveal.

It can't be a Lotus because Lotus has a cult following and Lotus marketing does not have to release stupid teasers.
