Mitsubishi announce their intention to debut the new Evo X at the Sydney International Motor Show

Mitsubishi Motors Australia Limited have just announced that they will unveil the all-new Lancer Evolution X, on October 11th at the Australian International Motor Show in Sydney.

Until today, we were not expecting to see the Evo X until the Tokyo Motor show but all that appears to have changed and Aussie motoring fans are in for a real treat in Sydney.

Do we have the Nissan GT-R and its pending Tokyo Motor Show unveiling to thank for this – were Mitsubishi concerned that the Evo X’s thunder would be stolen by the new Godzilla?

Nothing can confront GT-R in the show. Not even such a great car as Evo.
