Spy Video: Subaru Impreza WRX STi undisguised at the Nurburgring

Our friends over at CarMagazine have caught a video of the undisguised Subaru Impreza WRX STi doing some high-speed testing at the Nurburgring in Germany.

Subaru has realeased two official teaser images of the Suabru Impreza WRX STi which will be unveiled at the Tokyo Motor Show in later this month. The car is expected to be powered by a 2.5 liter turbo engine that produces 300 horsepower.

We expect an official press release right before its official unveil date on October 10. Stay tuned.

The STI that will be unveiled at the Tokyo Motor Show will be the JDM model. So it won't have 2.5 but a 2.0.

All that is under the hood. What most of us have been looking for is how the design will do. Like previous STis, they all looked the same from the JDM model to the USDM model. And like you said difference is the engine and perhaps the Japanese side gets more variants of the STi. Design is what we're expecting to redeem the WRX.
