Spies snag exclusive photos of the new FJ Cruiser colors for 2008
As we were perusing the floor at the OC Auto Show today, we were surprised to see two new FJ Cruiser colors in the flesh inside the Toyota Booth.

The two new colors are Sandstorm and Brick.

We can tell you the Sandstorm is REALLY hot looking in person and we predict it will soon be one of the most popular sellers.

On the other hand, the brick looked as dreary as it gets when it comes to SUV colors.

From far, it looks like the Black Cherry and in fact you would probably miss it if someone didn't tell you.

We didn't like it AT all...they should have done an Apple red like the Warn FJ at last years SEMA auto show.

The interior is still horrible.

I wish they would have a sunroof option.

I have a sunroof and I've never opened it. I don't mind if it's an option and I would even pay not to have it. Sunroofs are a safety hazard in the event of a crash with a glass-shattering turn-over.

Sunroof's are a only a crash concern if you don't wear your seatbelt. That's like saying, I'd pay not have any windows in my car if I could help it. Duh!!!

It's always easy to spot a Toyota fanboy.

They're 7 feet tall and wear funny hats!

They need to make a fire engine red one. That would look pretty cool with the white roof.

Wow, this article deserves a big steaming cup of who the hell cares.

Wow, white and maroon. Incredible.

I agree with is350- this car deserves primary colors. Fire engine red would look way better than the red shown here.

And yes, what is the point of that scarecrow-type thing next to the car? WTF?

Even dark brown would look better than that silly brick color.

2 questions:

1) where is the gearlever?
2) why does it look like a Playmobil toy?

I can't understand why green is still missing. A green FJ Cruiser with a white top and white leather interior would look very minty and would surely appeal to some people. Leather should be an option for the FJ Cruiser in any event.
