One of the up and coming hot new trends he spotted there was pimping out a Honda Civic with a BMW 5-Series front and rear end.

We don't know if it could ever be practical but we take our has off to these industrius and creative trendsetters in SoCal!

No, it really, truly does not, EL.

Last month, we drove the 535xi, and I was mightily impressed. Not only was the interior greatly improved from the '07 model-- but I would say that it's better-built than the 7 Series. Of course, there's also the obligatory perfect driving dynamics, perfect seats, ample second-row legroom and surprisingly good fuel economy ('08 ratings are a little pessimistic for the 535xi-- it will do better than 24 on the highway).

lol I wish they had the tires on and had the car on the floor not lifted like that.

I ask myself those kinds of questions every day. I see stupid little rice rockets with huge mufflers, lowering kits, ground kits, giant spoilers, hood scoops, roof scoops, tinted windows, giant chrome wheels, etc. etc. etc. on a Civic whose horsepower was only increased by 30 when they could have boughten a real car people wouldn't complain looking at.

Agent 001, today at the Anaheim Convention Center the city of Anaheim is celebrating it's 150 birthday so there should more going on today.

BTW, every year I go to the NAMM show at the Anaheim Convention Center which is the National Association of Music Merchants and I have met hundreds of rock stars and movie stars over the years there, but I don't think too many celebrities will come to Conservative Orange County, but you will see some in Liberal Los Angeles during the LA Auto Show.
