Did we just catch Hyundai's or Kia's BMW 3-Series Coupe competitor?

This title seems a bit too ambitious.

similar pictures have already been posted in past threads that have "Hyundai" in the title....not Kia.

This is a bit of a dead giveaway considering it looks almost exactly like the Tiburon.

I live in Irvine and there is a brand spankin' new Kia headquaters just off the 5 freeway in Irvine and I'll bet this is a Kia in Kamo!

so do i, i've been in that center myself and its not the HQ its the design center.

the HQ is in Fountain valley but they often bring prototypes down to irvine.

EL is a nuisance to the city of Irvine and has plastic chickens in his front yard.

This is the next Hyundai Tiburon, which will certainly not be a 3 Series competitor. Its closest competition will probably be the Nissan 350Z and Mazda RX-8, if it is indeed RWD.

Didn't you hear the news, the next Tiburon is being positioned as a sports/luxury coupe challenger to everything from the BMW 3-series to the Lexus SC 430.

It is not a KIA it is the Hyundai Coupe, and it is going to be going head to head with the Nissan 350Z this was released by Hyundai a couple weeks ago, and it is supposed to be making its debut at an up and coming show. I think Hyundai is coming up and taking over a lot of categories that a lot of people never thought they would. The new SUV is being compared with of all brands a Lexus, so if that tells you anything, it menas they are out to prove a lot. I have owned 2 Hyundai's both Tiburons, a 1st gen and 2nd gen. I had zero issues except with the 2nd gen and trans problems which later Hyundai admitted having, the fit and the finish of the interior was great, and I am sure they will continue with this

My brother works for a subdivision of Hyundai that deals with all of Hyundai and Kia's logistical operations. He's told me that this is the next Tiburon and will feature a new V6 engine and also have an optional V8.
