Funny Friday: Honda makes fun of Toyota Prius in Commercial

You’ve probably seen the Toyota Prius ‘Yes’ commercial on TV where everyone is walking around holding a ‘Yes’ sign. Well Honda has made their own version of the commercial for Civic Hybrid where everyone is walking around holding a ‘No’ poster.

The commercial starts off with the guy in the background saying “Just because you wanna do something nice for the planet, doesn’t mean you need to drive a hybrid shaped like a cheese wedge.” We agree.

I would agree if Honda US did not fee the need to uglify the US Civic. Frankly the Civic hybrid looks worse than the Prius.

Funny, but get real. As if the Civic Hybrid looks tremendously better than the Prius? You want a good-looking hybrid, buy a GS450h.

Well personally, I think the full wheel covers, the blue interior, and the antennae on the Civic make it look as unattractive as the Prius.

I hate the wheels on the Civic Hybrid. I agree that it's not as attractive as the Prius.

I saw a GS450h today in dark gray- beautiful.

agreed....my wife and I were on the Honda lot the other night checking out the new Accord, and I happened to take a look at one of the Civic Hybrids; they all have those retarded wheels.
