350HP and 850Nm (627lb-ft) torque from a VW SUV

Volkswagen has released full details for its new Touareg R50 sports SUV just days ahead of its world premiere at the Sydney Motor Show. We can now confirm that it will be packing a 350hp (258kW) version of its 5.0L V10 TDI and will have a full 850Nm (627lb-ft) of torque. The SUV’s interior will also be given a full upgrade courtesy of the carmaker’s own customizer, VW Individual.

Crazy Torque, but...

VW really needs to get help for this identity crisis issue.

Now where's the Real People's Car - the UP! ?

I think the UP! would be a great car...they have to make it.

But a 350hp VW V10 diesel does it for me. :P

I agree with you S4cabriofoxone, the Q7 V12 TDI is one of my dream cars right up there with the Bentley Brooklands coupe.
