When we picked the 2005 'Car of the year' (2005 Porsche 997) we received a lot of email asking us to rank the runners up in order of preference.

First list is money no object (what we would buy)in order of preference:

Here are the latest results from JD Powers on which brands buyers find the most appealing - oh what a surprise Lexus is at the top, and Mercedes Benz does not even beat Infiniti.
