Was last week's Maybach convertible a joke?

When a reader sent us the picture of the Maybach convertible our first thought was...what a funny joke.






Cool photoshop, but a really funny joke.

Then this week, we get this email with a url of a website (www.vgdauto.com) and we find out that you can REALLY get a Maybach convertible!

It's a conversion, but there really is someone out there doing this!

AND, it's only $156,000 extra if you want yours done!

Chump change to anyone who can afford a Maybach!

But why? You already pay soo much for that roof! Why chop it off? Besides, what happens to high speed ability, noise, and your $200 hair cut?
