Audi R8 V10 spied again

So some guys overs at RS6.com have spotted the R8 with V10 undergoing testing on a track. They point out some clear distinctions that the V10 version has over the current V8.

Among them are ceramic brakes that will likely be an option or possibly standard on the V10 model. The intakes on the side are much wider than the current V8, this will allow for better cooling. There is a fire extinguisher that is used for test cars. Lastly, instead of 12 LED lights this car has the whole full LED strip under the headlights.

Engines have been rumored to be anything from a Twin-Turbo V8, a naturally aspirated V10 or a Twin Turbo V10. Horsepower ranges have been everything from 480-560.

One thing is for sure.....this car will offer even better levels of performance than the V8 and will easily rival the Porsche 911 Turbo and other cars that routinely do 0-60 in under 3.7 seconds.

0-60 about as fast as a Porsche 911 Turbo and as comfortable to drive daily as a luxury sedan: The Audi R8 with V10

I really like the large ceramic brakes and the modified sideblade.

I agree on teh sideblade - thought the original one was a little too goofy looking, though the monochrome treatment probably did a lot to bring them back into line. This car is absolutely gorgeous. I really love the flat black color. Flat gray would be cool too.

In fact, it looks so good that the styling is worth the price. I would take it with a 3.2 V6, I don't care.

But the V10 is nice.

Lots of money!!!!! I'd hate to take that fine piece of .....machinery to the track and get my butt kicked by modified Corvettes, hell even modified Mustangs.

I saw what looked like the R8 at a gas station with a bunch of other 6+ figure vehicles on Rt55 East of Poughkeepsie NY, is it real? Very slick...
