If gasoline were sold like beer
How would your thoughts about filling up change if you had to do it 12 ounces at a time?

where I live, you wouldn't be able to buy gas, at all, on Sunday. The only place you'd be able to find it on a Sunday would be at a restaurant with a liquor license.
Alcohol isn't permitted to be sold in gas stations here, but you can buy 1 liter of vodka at the local Walgreens(not the liquor store, but the actual drug store)....alcohol is also illegal to sell on Sunday's, except for in restaurants. What a crock. GD bible belt.
....and car dealers aren't allowed to sell vehicles on Sundays either.....IT'S THE LAW.

Colorado is very much the same way.
You can't go and get a bottle so you can have a nice scotch at home, but you can go to a bar and get blasted. It is no surprise that this state has a massive drunk driving problem.
Car dealers can't be open on Sundays here either.
Politicians are imbeciles.

That's so bizarre...can't buy alcohol on a Sunday? But you can go to a bar and you can??
In Britain alcohol can be bought at any time a shop is open, if it has the right license. Also we recently introduced 24-hour drinking licenses, so if a pub, restaurant or bar wants to be open all the time and serve alcohol, it can. (similar to other European countries). The result? Lower drunk driving, lower violence from alcohol, and in general, a less drunk society.
