Caliber SRT-4 review and video: is it up to the SRT-4 standards?

Allpar tested the Caliber SRT-4, and posted pictures, notes, and a video. The question is whether this new SRT model is up to the standards set by its predecessor - which easily roared past its price point. The new SRT-4 is louder, safer, a tad slower, and perhaps more comfortable. Is it a step forward or backward?

Don't see a purpose for this car. SRT-4 In a Caliber, Chrysler give me a break!. What is this car going to compete against? and why would there even be a race to begin with?

I can see this car's appeal, as long as the price is right, but feel that its platform mate, the EVO X, gets everything right that this gets so very wrong.

platform shared with an eVo X does not mean this isn't still a POS and useless car. It's a complete joke. At least now Merc does not have to deal with this company 100% now that most of their ties with Chrysler is gone.

that has got to be one of the ugliest cars on the road, and its more powerful and slower than the car it replaces, this car makes no sense, about as much as the r63amg
