New German saloon to rival 7-series, S-class and A8

German automotive outfit Bitter Cars has unveiled a new flagship saloon called the Vero, built to rival cars like the Audi A8 and BMW 7-series. The new car is based on the Australian built Holden Statesman but gets a revised front-end and an upgraded interior to partially justify its exorbitant €121,975 price tag. The car stretches almost 5.2m in length and has a generous wheelbase of over 3m, which provides acres of legroom for rear seat passengers.

Ok, just read the article. If you ask me, this car has FLOP written all over it. First of all it has nothing on the German top sedans in terms of styling. Even the contraversial BMW 7-Series looks more expensive and appealing than this Holden-based product. Image and prestige wise, what has this car got to offer? Options and standard features?

If there is one thing Erich Bitter has always done wrong, it's PRICING. Even his Bitter sports cars from the late 70s and 80s were overpriced and sold extremely poorly. They had no appeal or something that would differentiate them from other exotics of the time.

this has to be one of the most rediculous things this company has made....what will Bitter do when GM starts selling the statesman or commodore, in Europe as an Opel or Vauxhall or both. this car looks just like the statesman with a new front end, know one will take this thing serious. not the statesman isnt a nice car it by all means is very nice, but it was not intented to compete with flagship luxury sedans. The buick version the park avenue has an interior that may get pretty close, but comeon even that park wasnt meant to be this expensive

2008 honda accord sedan looks much better than this trash. no class or flash for that matter. just a tin garbage can. over 100 grand ????? i think s550 has NOTHING to worry about....
