Has The Mercedes S63 AMG Knocked The Lexus LS460 Off The Top Rung?

The S-Class, renowned for luxurious technology in Mercedes flagship sedans, and AMG, the German word for uberhot rod, have created a vehicle with more science than the first U.S. moon landing and more pampering than a five-star resort.

The S63 AMG will rub your back, cradle you in fast turns, blow the doors off anyone next to you at a light and handle all of those tedious driving things like monitoring your speed and dialing your cell phone. I, personally, feel that 'back-messaging' driver's seats are a bit of a safety issue, as I don't want anyone driving me around to be quite THAT RELAXED!

Regarding the question, S63 presence factor alone, is enough to tear the LS460 apart.

if lexus ever decides to compete in a segment as the S63 AMG or the Alpina B7, they would introduce an LS-F (?)

common sense will produce legitimate comparisons.

S63 vs. LS460? There's no comparison there, on any level other than the overall class size they compete in.

Regarding performance, engine, etc. it's like comparing a Nissan Altima with an M5.

This was an inaccurate re-branding of a great MB-related article.
