Wasn't the concept pictured long dropped from production possibility?

I'll believe it when I see one at my local dealer.

That is one cool looking Van. Will they offer it with a diesel? That would be great, as there is no Van's with diesel yet, except for the R320cdi?

If it's anything like their Eurovan, it will be Overpriced and underpowered, and get piss gas mileage. The Eurovan was in one of those unique situtations where a smaller engine actually gave you shoddy mpg because they put it into a 4,000lb vehicle.

the new vans are made by Chrysler, in a deal struck with MB. The new Chrysler vans have swivel front seats (like VW has had for many years) as well as the folding table etc.
VW will not make a vehicle for the North American market since that is their weakest market. Outside of the US they are the #1 automaker.
Any photos of this unit based on th eUP! concept?

Bring it on, as in the Microbus concept, with enough power and I'll get one.
