Auto Spies Exclusive: Official launch of the Hummer H3-First real-life pictures

From what we saw in the H3T concept, this car looks tame. The exterior has good looks, but the dash is abominable. I think the pictures on the official site make the interior seating and other features look nice, but the dash is hard to get by on a car that will surely be at least 30K+. But is the dash a strong point on any Hummer? I think the H2, though plasticized, is probably the most rugged, and the H1 by far the most complicated. The H3 is too plain. Lynchhummer.com has shown some interior pics with teak two-tone seats, much like the current H1, which is a great interior look in my opinion. Finally, the official site says there will be side curtain airbags finally, but doesn't mention anything for the torso. Clearly GM is not listening to the results of crash tests that show that side curtain AND torso airbags together will greatly increase your chances of survival in a side impact.
