What do you bet they replace the Pacifica, Magnum and the PT with some hulkish inefficient SUV. The Nitro, Commander and Aspen SHOULD have been the first to go. These vehicles insult my intellegence. At least the Pacifica, Magnum and PT filled some sort of niche.

And Compass! PTC, Magnum and Pacifica are actually some of their BETTER products!

Exactly what I was thinking. I don't think the Pacifica was that bad. I mean it was one of the first in the crossover segment, and in my opinion it was one of the best looking crossovers at that time. Hopefully they'll get a replacement that'll challenge the GM Lambdas. Yea, the Nitro, Aspen, and Commander are unnecessary.

My only surprise is why the Pacifica did not do well in the market. I'm guessing Chrysler overpriced it to begin with.I would assume Chrysler will replace these models with somthing more appealing to the buying public.I hope they can figure this out.

Every time I saw someone in a PT crusier,I said to myself what were you thinking (smoking) when you bought this.

The PT and Pacifica are understandable but the Magnum is a bit of a surprise. Hopefully They turn things around. They can make some really good looking cars, they're just poorly executed. Thats where they need to change.

Good call on the Magnum and Pacifica. The new Jouney and a Chrysler varient will replace them both. I think it is a mistake to eliminate the popular PT. They should redesign it and dump the ugly Caliber instead, and make the PT a Dodge. Hopefully the Crossfire and ugly Sebring sedan will be eliminated as well.

In fact, I think it's the opposite, TRacer. The PT Cruiser could have had potential--but it's stale now and a redesign will do no good. On the other hand, the Pacifica has the potential to be a wildly popular people mover and the Magnum is one of their better moments.

Chrysler will scale down then be taken over and pretty much go the way of AMC by 2015.
Look for a few more companies to bite the dust also there are just to many car lines, confusion reigns in the industry it will be a whole different game come 2020 for sure.
The big players world wide will merge or takeover rivals leaving just a few companies that produce most of the world's cars.

What about the rest of their lineup.
How about the stop producing everything, except the 300, and they go back to the drawing board.

The Magnum wasn't too bad, but I'm glad the other 2 are out.

Here's the next ones they should eliminate:
Compass, Nitro, Avenger/Sebring Those IMO are the ugliest and crappiest cars they make.
