Paint it black and it can be used in the next Batman movie with very few modifications.

Your right-It virtually never happens. In a way i wish car makers would not do teaser sketches or way out concept cars that don't have a hope and prayer of production. It ends up being a real scam to the general public.

It looks fine, nothing super-exciting... and we all know i will look nothing like this. But what is the point of a Genesis coupe and where would it fit into the lineup? Are they positioning it as some sort of cheap Mercedes CL? Because I can see it being compared to the Toyota Solara, which is not what Hyundai wants. There are really no "upscale, inexpensive, sporty" coupes on the market right now.

It is set for the 350Z, G35, kind of Toyota Supra like vehicle niche.

That doesn't make sense at all. The Genesis is supposed to be a cheap Lexus LS. Wouldn't that make this a cheap, much better Lexus SC?

This concept looks awful. What a disappointment.
My expectations were high after seeing the Genesis sedan, but this?
The sedan is grown-up, this is juvenile - a kid's car.
Too much "swoopy" curves - I hate to say it, but it looks like Hyundai designed this car in 1996 and now released it to the public. Hell it looks like Russian stylists got the Tiburon, re-styled it, and this is the result. You can do a lot better, Hyundai.

i can assure you that it will look less swoopy and actually alot like the prediction design.

This isn't a concept, it's an artist's impression. Do you know how strange cars like the BMW X6 and Mercedes CLS looked when they were still drawings?

Lexus IS anybody?

well only is-f hood bulge and maybe the front lights actually the whole lexus IS front is on that. I personally think it is too futuristic and will probably be toned down for production

This may be a bit of a let down but this car will not have a V8 like so many people, magazines, and websites think, it will have a 2.0L Four and a 3.?L V6. This has already been announced by Hyundai.

Well if the sedan has a V8 it only makes sense that the coupe has a V8 as well, no?

Looks like a tiburon or however you spell it. Would be a good redesign for that. I think it get away from the purpose of the Genesis which is a luxury car. This is way to sporty and should be seperate from the Genesis

Not even close... but it will make the SC look even worse.

Is this supposed to be the same vehicle as the coupe model that has been shown in plenty of spy shots wearing disguises while on test? Or is it an all new concept in addition to that already seen? The talk about potential powertrains certainly matches the current coupe disscussions...

If it is one and the same isn't this old news?

Too much going on with this car. Lines should be toned down a lot...
