2007 SEMA Show: Toyota Tundra Double Cab TRD Off-Road Concept (Live Image)
Toyota has revealed the new Toyota Tundra Double Cab TRD Off-Road Concept here at the 2007 SEMA Show. The Tundra Double Cab TRD Off-Road Concept starts has a 6.5-foot bed that is combined with numerous custom features designed to showcase new TRD products on a rugged heavy-duty off-road truck that can be used to pull a large car-hauler trailer.

The truck is powered by a 5.7-liter V8 engine that has been upgraded with a new TRD supercharger system that boosting output to 500 horsepower. Toyota promises that the Tundra Double Cab TRD Off-Road Concept is capable of pulling the 10,200 trailer that is attached to it.

The truck uses TRD 17×8 forged off-road wheels with 37×12.50 R17/D BFG tires on special front and rear wide-track long-travel suspensions. Toyota has restyled the front and rear fascias to give the truck a more aggressive look.

Are you saying that Toyota does not make great trucks? or great LOOKING trucks?

This one-off looks like an older Dodge Ram model with Toyota's face welded on. But I like the new Tundra's and Tacomas. Much better looking/performing than the prior generations.

Their trucks are some of the best on the road in terms of reliability, but as always, to each their own in the looks department.

this truck is TALLLL! look at the guys nearby, for scale.

makes me wonder if the headlights are at a legal height. whether they are or not, this is one TUFF looking, HUMUNGOUS toyota! not a 'toy' truck anymore!
