I cannot describe my want/need/love for the R8... it does everything so exceptionally well without compromising a thing. I don't know what they did, but nobody else can seem to figure it out, either.

The F430 Scuderia would be my second choice, and then the Porsche GT2. They both offer better and more raw performance than the R8, but I would need a second car on the side that I could drive every day. With the Audi, I don't need that.

Fine, but I would save $80K with the R8 to have an M5 or A8L on the side, just for fun.

No, it is not at all like that, Anthony. This car is a BETTER performer than the Gallardo, by a long shot. It may not have the power, but according to some sources it's actually quicker. It is much more comfortable for everyday use, but it also has superior handling that makes anyone feel like a pro driver. And it even looks better. That is why I want one--for all of those things. The Gallardo never made a huge impression on me.
