I surely thought that LEXUS has matured beyond those 'rice-rocket' looking things...

Toyota/Lexus started that trend.

There's really nothing wrong with the current exterior. What they should concern themselves with is an interior upgrade to keep up with its competition as so clearly evidenced in the recent Edmund's comparison. I reluctantly had to agree with their conclusion on the IS's interior.

Agreed. They're still not on par with ZE GERMANS.

I love the way the IS350 looks; besides the taillamps, this looks even better. I hope it reaches production, but with the IS-F's red/white taillamps.

The exterior design is fine it's the interior that could use the face-lift.

This is a poor attempt to drum up news to push magazine sales/recognition. But I guess it worked, because we are commenting on it....

Hey Will, what is so wrong with the interior (accroding to Edmunds)? I think it's really nice. What did they say in the article as compared to the other newer models' interiors? I don't have the article in front of me...

It's definitely a photochop. Look at the front passenger wheel in the lower pic. The back portion of the fenderwell overlaps the tire. Yes the tire is turned left so it would actually cover the well appearance, not vice versa. They gave it a more GS looking front end and cleared the lamps in back.

I have the clear lamps on my 05 Matrix, it was one of the changes they made from 03-04. I like them better than the all read. But I am also a fan of white/red. I just hate the amber lenses on tails, they are fugly. Other than that, get some LEDs
