BMW building a second PAS model

BMW building a second PAS model
During September’s official future strategy presentation BMW CEO Norbert Reithofer revealed plans for several all-new models including a design study dubbed the Progressive Activity Sedan (PAS). Details were brief but we were given an obscure design brief for the new car, which is said to highlight efficient packaging methods and intelligent functionalities.

Latest reports claim BMW is planning a second and smaller PAS to be released after the rival of the first version at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show.

I feel that this will be little more than slightly lowered/pseudo notch-back version of the X6.

A vehicle that the market could well do without.

I guess if it it looks cool and has that certain x-factor people will buy it. I personally think the X6 looks great, I don't think it's all that practical but it does look cool. I guess the high driving position would be one reason to buy it, if thats what you like.
