Aston Martin DB9 more popular than Veyron in latest survey

Of all the cars of the modern era Aston Martin’s gorgeous DB9 has been picked as the ‘ultimate dream car’ in a recent poll of 3,000 UK motorists. There was some bias towards the Aston brand in general as the Vanquish supercar and Vantage V8 came in third and fifth, respectively, out of a field that included cars like the Bugatti Veyron and Ferrari Enzo.

Despite any biases towards British cars, Roll-Royce didn’t make the list and Bentley only managed an eighth place spot on the dream manufacturer list. Other brands we’re surprised didn’t receive a mention were supercar manufacturers Pagani and Koenigsegg.

OK, the DB9 is not that good looking. The design is just so bland and minimalist. The DBS, on the other hand, is one of the most beautiful cars I can think of IMO. All this attention should be going towards that and not the overrated DB9.

I think the DB9 is beautiful. It's a masterpiece to me. The DBS on the other hand is a bit to sporty to be an Aston to me.

Actually I think the Aston Martin V8 Vantage should of take first place instead of fifth. The most beautiful coupe on the road is easily the Aston Martin V8 Vantage.

I agree the V8 Vantage looks better in a more modern type of way, the DB9 has a less aggressive classy look to it.
