The 2009 Lincoln MKS is powered by Lincoln’s new 3.7 liter V6 engine that produces 270 horsepower and 265 lb-ft of torque. Lincoln says that the MKS offers the power and torque of a V8 while delivering a fuel-economy that of a V6.

A FWD DTS competitor? "V8 power and torque"? Maybe in 1995, but today, V8's in the lux class are all in the mid-300's. (I assumed FWD, I didnt see RWD noted anywhere)

They ripped off the quattroporte's tailights, (which is a good thing, but not innovative) and I dont like the steering wheel. Otherwise it looks like a new Lincoln.

I think it's based on the XF (and vice versa), so RWD.

The pricing is completely out of proportion for what it being sold/presented...

If this isn't rethought, this may be little more than another step in the (rapid) decline of Lincoln.

Wow! I'm surprised and impressed--it actually looks good!

And, SURPRISE, SURPRISE, there's the JAGUAR XF INTERIOR. I was wondering why it was so un-Jaguar, it really does work better in the Lincoln lineup.

I'll bet the Lincoln MKS is based off the Volvo S80.

You are correct, minus the Yahmaha V8 in the S80. Thought I must say they did a great job seperating the two.

whats going on in the middle of that dashboard?

hi de ous

and 270hp????? competitors' V-6s are offering 300+ with optional V-8s.

nice try, Ford. I wouldnt sell Jaguar just yet. Cuz Lincoln as a luxury brand just aint cuttin it, they're barely a notch above Mercury. Shameless what they haave done to this brand.
