Totally on my shopping list. So far, the only vehicle at the top of my list is the 2008 Santa Fe. My wife is looking for a small SUV. A big final decision factor is how closely the Canadian price will resemble the U.S. price at the time of purchase. Right now, car manufacturers are still ripping off Canadians by charging considerably more for their product in Canada than equivalent models similarly equipped in the U.S. -- this is an outrage considering that the C$1 now buys more than U.S.$1 on the currency market. Canadians should all boycott offending manufacturers and direct their business only toward companies that consider Canada and the U.S. as a single common market with goods priced identically in both countries.

EnnNorak... Are there any car manufacturers offering equal pricing? A lot of cars are made in Canada. They should be cheaper in Canada if they are made in Canada; no?

Hmm, we haven't got the 2.0 TFSI here yet, only the 1.4 TSI.

Same, 1.4TSI and 2.0 tdi 140 in britain.
We will apparently be getting the 2.0 TFSI in 2008, plus more powerful 1.4 TSI and 2.0 tdi 170 most likely.

This car looks excellent. There's something about it that make the RAV4, CR-V etc. look cheap. It could pass for a mini Audi or BMW.

Very competative pricing.
