LA Auto Show: Mustang Bullitt revealed in LA (live images)
Seen earlier last week, Ford showed off the new 2008 Mustang Bullitt at the LA Auto Show debut. The Bullitt will arrive in dealerships early next year with a starting price of $31,075 with a limited production of 7,700 units.

The new Mustang Bullitt is powered by 4.6 liter V8 engine that produces 315 horsepower and 325 lb-ft. of torque.

However, we were a bit disappointed Ford didn’t put much hype around the car. It was just hanging out there at the Ford display in the corner.

I would not call the Mustang a "dead horse". It has been the most successful muscle car ever sold and has out lasted the GM and Chrysler brigade by a large margin. No it's not a handling track car in stock form but it gives a nice retro driving experiance that older people crave. In addition the Bullit appeals because it's so understated.

This car will be a flop---Steve would have been disappointed---not enough horsepower
Also can you image the surcharging (scalping) that is going to happen at your local, friendly, public loving, asshole ford dealer?
