LA Auto Show: Maserati Quattroporte Sport GT S (live images)

Maserati revealed the Quattroporte Sport GT S at Frankfurt and has now brought it over to the U.S. The Maserati Quattroporte Sport GT S builds on the Sport GT package, but Maserati says the added ‘S’ means exceptional dynamic behavior and uncompromised handling.

The Maserati Quattroporte Sport GT S sits 10mm lower in the front and 25mm in the back as compared to the Sport GT version. The V8 engine under the hood delivers 400 hp and is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. The car also features brakes co-developed with Brembo and are made of iron and aluminum.

I can't believe people would still buy one of those over-inflated lexus ls i-can't-park-myself or mercedes sl I-have-more-money-than-taste after seeing this. this is beautiful.

I agree, the Granturismo is one of the most beautiful cars you can buy today. But this ain't bad for a four-door sedan.

Yeah, and it's great to drive, too. AND it has a stunning interior.

Most desirable sedan on the planet, IMO.

am i the only person that finds this car well unattractive. i've seen many of these on the road (regular version) and it just doesn't do anything for me. i don't like the styling of either the exterior or the interior. i understand that it handles well but that just isn't enough. give me a s8 or s63. in the real world this car just can't hang.

It may not be able to keep up with an S8 or S63 AMG, but it sounds better, drives better, looks better and makes you feel better than either.

You may have seen them, but you've never ridden in one. I have, and it's an incredible car.

Good point S4, Feel and pleasure is way more important then stats and numbers to me anyway. I never understood people that purchase cars on 0-60 times or lap times, or useless features(lexus I-can't-park-button) Priorities should be smiles per hour not miles per hour.
