LA Auto Show: Ferrari 430 Scuderia comes to the U.S. (live images)

After being unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September, Ferrari has brought over the 430 Scuderia to the U.S. Weighing in at 1250kg, 100kg less than the F430, the Ferrari 430 Scuderia is powered by a 4.3 liter V8 engine that produces 510 horsepower. The car has an extremely low weight-to-power ratio of just 2.45 kg per horsepower.

We started talking to the PR and got a ballpark pricing figure of $250,000. All other details will be announced closer to its market launch next year.

I thought that it was kind of odd giving a curved car sharper edges but i think it looks nice now.

any trim, any variation, the f430 is an epic car as Jeremy Clarkson would put it. i drove one about a month ago! that thing produces a sound that echo's for blocks! the sound just bounces off buildings(well like any supercar would, with exception of the 911 turbo-yes it's a supercar just not OUT THERE like the rest).

Well of course if you can afford it buy it.$230 grand(I'm probably low)is a fair amount of dinero. Now for slightly less performance but an equally exciting car would be a 911GT3 or GT3RS.In addition you would save 100 grand. True it does not look as exoctic as the Scuderia but you don't need to be from Cirq De Solei to squeeze yourself into the car either.

you'd save a lot more than 100k...walk into a dealer and see how much they want for one...i betcha 350k+....assuming you're "approved" to get a new one and they don't make you purchase a couple used 360s first.

I cannot wait for the F430-successor. My issue with the Scuderia is that unlike the Challenge Stradale, this will not be made in a limited production run but will be joined as part as the F430 line-up.
