LA Auto Show: Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe (live images)

Rolls-Royce showed off their Phantom Drophead Coupe at the 2007 LA Auto Show and we have to say the Drophead Coupe is bigger and more beautiful in person than it seems in pictures.

The Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead coupe is powered by a 6.75 liter V12 engine that produces 453 horsepower giving it the ability to do 0-60 mph in 5.7 seconds.

Rolls-Royce has already sold out the 100 units planned for this year. The company has plans on bringing over 200 units next year.

Not like 5.7 is SLOW. It can still beat most cars on the road. But like S4 said, why care about the power, when the beauty is all that you should pay attention to. It's a Rolls, not a Bentley Le Mans car.

With this curb weight you would need 1000+hp to get it to go 0-60 in 4.3 secs. Again, who cares, this car is gorgeous and that's all that really matters here.

Imagine your driving on Sunset Blvd. past the Beverly Hills Hotel in this RR and every car on the road is an S-Class or 7-Series and everyone moves out of your way as you drive the winding road to PCH so you can head North to Malibu for the evenings party.

I saw this really old guy (in his 80's) with his wife pull up in this car like a month ago in front of the mall here in cincinnati and just park it in a regular spot... wonder what he does for a living? looked like a wacked-judge... this car is beautiful tho! especially that hood OMG!
