Is this the next BMW M3 Convertible?

Is this the next BMW M3 Convertible?
With the introduction of the BMW M3 Coupe and now sedan in the bag, we have to believe that the introduction of the next M3 Convertible, is not far behind.

Take a look at this gorgeous example from our friends over at bimmerfest.com with M aerodynamics kit installed.

We'll put money on it that the convertible M3 will look VERY close to what you see here. Just add the M3 vent, powerdome and quad exhaust on the rear.

In case you're wondering what color it is, it is Monaco Blue.

What a B-E-A uty!

Well, is it very hard to imagine what it will look like?

An M3 coupe with a retractable hardtop.

Thank you

I was wondering what the IQ level of the poster was.

The M3 cabrio will look exactly like an M3 coupe but with the Hard Top Conv Roof

END Of Story.

This is such a bogus article!

M3 Coupe Convertible is simply an M3 with a hardtop - just as others have stated!

Do we really need to post a 335i coupe convertible to get an idea of what an M3 coupe convertible will look like?

Brilliant work, 001! Keep on "spying"!

with 0-60 in 4.9 seconds, there's no reason to buy an M3. Not to mention that it costs 58,000 dollars, which ought to buy an M3.

perhaps a 2009 BMW M4 with 600hp? or a 2008 560i? or try a 2009 Z5 M... Perhaps those cars will suit your taste.

What's wrong with ragtops?

They look better, weigh less, are more practical and can handle just as bad weather as any hardtop.

I love soft tops...the hard tops are too bulky and make the cars too heavy.

It's not that I don't like them, but I think that the hardtop gives the 3-series convertible a more dignified look. Some cars look better with the soft-top, but I don't think the 3-series is one of those.

Actually, I think it is.

The E93 looks ungainly with the top up, and obviously it looks the same as it would as a ragtop with the top down.

TaurnB2G and I will enjoy our fast, stylish rag convertibles, thanks.

Yeah, but they're hardtops. The new ones are at least. The new ones are what I was talking about anyway.

I am BMWpos evil twin. Lexus is the most overrated car company in the world. The softest, unperformance like rides period. Go test drive one you will see yourself. Horrible. For the moment Lexus is à la mode.

Agent001, I'm glad you like my car and my photographs. In all honesty I think I'm prouder of the photos than I am of the 335i. Anyone can buy a car. Few can take decent photgraphs of that car once they get it.

As for BMWs being overpriced and over rated: if you have ever owned a Porsche Carrera you would never think of BMWs as a poor value. $60 grand gets you so much more car from BMW than $100 grand will get you from Porsche. The Bimmers are probably some of the best handling rear wheel drive cars this side of a Cayman. And I can fit my kids in the back.

Totally agree...dumped my Carrera S and have a 335 convertible on order...space grey, red interior, bamboo trim

What camera did you shoot with and what photoshop enhancement did you do?

The photos were shot with an EF 35mm f/1.4L mounted on an EOS-1D Mark III. Nothing but a levels adjustment and some sharpening in photoshop.

BTW, my 335i vert replaces a 2006 997 S with the X-51 package. As I have little time for the track I'm having a lot more fun in the E93. Sure the Bimmer isn't as fast but I find myself not caring. At 39 maybe I'm getting old. Maybe the S8 in the garage is enough to sate my need for pure speed. ;-)

bought 550 in 6/06 and added aero-kit. what a difference compared to standard car. a couple picking-up 750 asked salesman if that was available for 7 series. not trolling but seems infiniti is using similar lines in air-dam and side sills, ie.G37.

"It’s also overpriced. When you read some tests, you think that it’s a fanatastic car."

That's because IT IS. You are one voice among MANY. One voice that obviously differs from most--because BMWs are truly terrific cars. They don't get all the accolades, win all the comparison tests and gain in sales every year for NO REASON.

wonder why people continue to care about what BMWpos says...

Leave him alone, so he can buy his 17th BMW in 7 years, saying he owned them yet they are company cars...

Hope your next purchase is a Lexus 2008 IS600h...
