Racer X develops a modern AC Cobra supercar
Maltese company Racer X Design has released sketches of a modern interpretation of the AC Cobra 427. Designed to evoke the emotions of the classic cobra, the KC-427 concept captures the lines of the original while adding a more brutal new age twist. The design is dramatic and modern yet preserves the same lines that made the original a true icon.

Its small dimensions combined with a space frame chassis lead to a weight of less than a ton, despite having a 7.0L Corvette Z06 V8 under the bonnet. With these specs, the final product should have a power to weight ratio of around 550hp/ton.

I always liked the original also but it will be interesting to see if this car can compete against the Nissan GT-R.
