This is a FEATURE of the 2005 car?

And the question is...WHY?

Who on earth would want that?

So, do you think they are just trying to pull the wool over customers eyes or do you buy the story, that this is a feature?

Actually, I've got an 04 Cooper S and it has that sound as well. If the sound in the 05 is anything like the sound in my car, then it is not that disturbing.
