it's wierd that the e550 4matic has WORSE fuel mileage supposedly than the S550 4matic...what about weight difference?!?!?!?

Could be an error or something like a more economical rear axle ratio on the S-Class. Or maybe the S was not a 4MATIC.

a 550i also gets worse gas mileage than the 750i...it may be programming

Mercedes makes a C300 flex fuel vehicle....I wonder what that's all about? And I didn't know Buick used the Impala SS engine in the Lacrosse; that's a much better alternative to the bland Impala.

This isn't the full list. They're missing some cars, like the Honda Odyssey.

X5, not the Q7? Any way good choice.

I don't buy ONLY Audis. I like them but I like most other luxury cars, too. The Q7 is also way too big. We only have one kid at home.

Although the X5 is my wife's, I will be driving it. We're picking it up tomorrow. I'll write an article sometime soon.

2008 BMW X5 4.8i
Deep Green Metallic
Sand Beige Napa Leather - Bamboo Trim
Multi-Contour Front Seats
Premium Package
Cold Weather Package
Rear Climate Package
Technology Package
Comfort Access
Heated Rear Seats
Running Boards
SIRIUS Satellite Radio
iPod Adapter
$66,270

So not loaded, but not exactly spartan, either. The wife didn't want the Sport Package, due to its harsh ride, but I wanted those awesome 20" Y-spoke rims.

We did already drive it on Saturday, but we're not picking it up until tomorrow because of some annoying paperwork the salesman has to do... excited.

haha, the estimated fuel cost is set at $2.80/$3.00! who's lucky enough to pay that for gas right now?

G Rider,

NJ paid $2.839 for regular yesterday.

Besides, this guide has been in the making for at least a few months.

You can assume then by looking at the numbers to add a few hundred dollars for gas for a year based on the numbers they give in the guide.
