UPDATED: New BMW M3 Spotted in the OC Wild
Here are a couple of pics from my cell phone of the new M3 while driving on the 405 in Orange County. The driver of the car was not happy about me taking these shots and he actually slowed down to under 35mph to try and stop me from getting the shots.

NO WAY. I was in Santa Barbara on wednesday and the EXACT same car drove right by me on State St. Because it was going the opposite direction I couldn't get a shot of it. Do you think they are testing the new SMG? It's weird because it's fully licensed but not with dealer plates.

I've seen the new black M3 on 210 near Monrovia at least 6 weeks ago already. It's driving at around 65 mph so I don't get to hear the roar.

i saw one on culver blvd in the marina the other day. i gave the guy a thumbs up and he seemed pretty happy driving the car. I think i would permanently have a grin on my face if i had one.

Those are manufacturer plates...DST is short for distributor

As it was said above, its either the SMG version or the CSL. BTW, those are the same rims on the M3 test mules before it was launched.
