Some of the vehicles have recalls, safety issues, and poor residuals; I can understand them being on the list. But some just dont belong. I think the article is flawed.

Sonata should not be on the list. Author mentioned that usually there are incentives to make up for the difference in residuals, therefore if the author averaged the incentives on the vehicle for that model year i would highly doubt it would be "difference in value of $3,750 ", especially similarly equipped.

If the crown victoria is not being offered to consumers and is strictly fleet, then why is it on the list at all?

I always thought the Magnum was a cool looking car, my fiance's brother had one for 6 months from his job, not a bad hauler for the hockey games.

As for the Jeep Liberty, they can go F*** themselves. My fiance owns one and loves it. Everyone I know that has a KJ (Jeep Liberty) loves them, and they are rugged. Forget your little Murano, Edge, whatever else you have, this thing packs a burly 3.7L 6 with a growl and the power to give you lots of fun on snowy nights and offroad trips! Perfect when we go camping, and those little utes don't look as good with a lightbar.

The Liberty's engine is a joke. How could they only manage 210hp with a 3.7??? VW gets 240hp out of a 2.0T in the Seat Leon Cupra!

Shoot, the van engine in my Mustang 3.9 V6 is only rated at 190hp; 210hp wouldn't be such a bad thing for me.

They should put the 3.7 into the Compass. As ugly as the f***er is, the Rallye Edition really doesn't look that bad; it's just plagued by a horrendously underpowered engine.
