Wong was sentenced Friday to 90 days in jail, which he has already served in pre-trial custody, and put on probation for two years after earlier pleading guilty to three counts of indecent exposure, two counts of mischief, two counts of obstructing a peace officer and theft.

0to60, its $50K because it's in Canada and BMW is grossly overpriced in Canada. Auto makers in general are ripping off Canadians by charging more instead of less for their cars in Canada. The Canadian dollar is now worth more than the U.S. dollar and it is essentially the same market although the auto industry would like consumers to believe otherwise.

Now is a good time for Canada and the U.S. to adopt a common currency and form an official common market along the lines of the EU. Furthermore, Canadian and U.S. emissions and safety standards should be harmonized. Overly expensive safety modifications should be eliminated altogether as a matter of good social poilcy as the money families would save in the process can be better used for the education and nutritional needs of children.

gsh23, I am only talking about a common market and common currency right now as possible political union is too far off into the future. Bear in mind that Canada and the U.S. already share common business practices and are still each other's largest trading partners. Notwithstanding French nationalism in Quebec (now declining) and the influx of Spanish-speaking illegal immigrants in the U.S., English is predominantly the common language. The only issues to be resolved for eventual political union are U.S. gun laws and Canada's health care system.
