A hot car is not necessarily a good-looking one. Perfect example: previous gen Nissan Skyline GT-R

hot = good looking

you can call it best, most popular, most exciting...whatever. but call it hot and it had better be GORGEOUS.

in that case it would be a pretty short list with the RANGE ROVER at the top.

Plus they have the Buick Enclave on here but not the GMC Acadia and Saturn Outlook which are very simular unless Forbes is using the Enclave to represent all three? The Hybrid Durango? The Aspen. What is Forbes smoking anyways?

19? why 19, I guess there isn't 20 hot SUVs (by the look of things there isn't near 19).

Personally, there AREN'T 10 (current) Sport Utility Vehicles that I find truly desirable.

Hot? Half the SUV's on that list are boring and plain.

indeed...the escape/mariner?

the top 2 should be the x6 and the ex followed by the enclave/LC/cayenne (in no specific order)

the rest are really ugly...the escalade/yukon/tahoe are the same vehciel with different headlights and grils

I think this proves--once and for all--that Forbes.com is not a definitive automotive resource...

EL34, you know I'm a big fan and love your taste in cars, but I have to say, how many cars are you going to buy? you may first need to buy a airplane hangar to put all these great cars in.

I saw the BMW X6 at Frankfurt Autoshow and it was one of the nicest vehicles there, it actually made the new X5 look outdated already.

What do they mean by hot? It cant be the looks for sure... Toyota LC? Porsche cayenne?

Yeah that X6 sure is looking good, I love it. It's got to be at least top three on my list if not number one out of any production truck/SUV/crossover. Imagine throwing some 24 inch black chrome lipped wheels on a black X6…I think some day I will!

Oversized wheels are out man. IMO, custom wheels should only be considered when they offer a performance advantage over factory wheels.

This is a personal opinion, BUT, the LX570 isn't hot. It's ugly and plain-looking.
