So how is the new Audi A6 selling?

Dear 001,

Reaction to the all-new A6 is very strong.

Sales would have been of the charts but Audi is having some issues processing them at the port.

There are 500 SOLD cars sitting at the there waiting to be processed, not to mention the ones that are spoken for, but not entered into the system (which is how dealers usually deal with it anyway).

Reaction has been great.

The benchmark for interior design again. Audi has to fix a few quality demons though. Just look at resale values old A6.

I wasn't all that impressed. It was nice, but the loss of curviness just makes it look cheaper and bland. I'm sure it's a good drive, but for the kind of money Audi is asking on their cars, I'd go Mercedes or Japanese.

Hi Gang-
After a 2 month wait I picked up my 4.2 A6 on Sat.
You can say what you want, but go down and drive this car against the 5er and you tell me which is the finer vehicle in terms of build quality. I have driven BMW for the last 15 years and the quality has steadily declined within that time frame. The American yuppie public has become obsessed with the "badges of luxury". A bimmer and a rolex do not a man or women make!!! Rock on Auto Spies!!!!
